What a Pipeline Audit actually finds

Before you spend more on ads, it's worth knowing where the budget you already spend is leaking.

Funnel and magnifier representing a marketing pipeline audit

When someone tells me their ads aren't working, the instinct is usually to spend more or start over. Almost always, that's the wrong first move. The right one is to find out where the money you're already spending is leaking, which is exactly what a Pipeline Audit does.

What I look at

  • Account structure. Messy, sprawling accounts waste budget. I look at how campaigns are organised and where spend is going to waste.
  • Targeting. Often the single biggest leak. Are your ads reaching real buyers, or burning budget on clicks that will never convert?
  • Creative and messaging. Whether your ads actually speak to the person you want, or blend into the noise.
  • Conversion tracking. This is where I find the scariest problems. If tracking is broken, every other decision is being made on bad data.
  • Landing pages. You can run perfect ads and still lose everyone on a slow or confusing page. I check where paid traffic drops off.

Why it usually pays for itself

In most accounts I audit, there's at least one leak big enough that fixing it covers the cost of the audit many times over. A broken conversion tag, a campaign targeting the wrong audience, a landing page quietly killing conversions. These aren't rare; they're the norm.

What you walk away with

A clear, prioritised list of what to fix and in what order, delivered as a short walkthrough and a one-page plan. It's yours to keep and act on, whether or not we work together afterwards. The point isn't to sell you a retainer. It's to show you exactly where your growth is hiding.

If that sounds useful, get in touch and we'll set one up.
